  • Can I pay my bill on-line?
    Yes, please click on the link to pay your bill on-line, and you will be redirected to our secure Bill Pay website (gateway.ezpaycenters.net/pediatrix/). Please have your statement available and locate the Identification Number on the left of the statement under Responsible Party to easily pay your bill.
  • Can I speak to someone about questions about my bill?
    Yes, if you received a Pediatrix bill/statement and have questions, please call Patient Services at 787-999-0753 Representatives are available Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm EST to answer your questions.
  • Can my Pediatrix physician’s office answer questions about my bill?
    No, if you have questions about a bill received from Pediatrix, please do not contact your physician’s office since their staff does not manage the billing. Instead, contact Patient Services to answer questions regarding your charges, insurance processing and payment options.
  • What if I received a bill, but expected my insurance to cover the charges?
    There are a few reasons your insurance company may not pay your entire bill. The most common insurance denials on claims are because: Your insurance company needs additional information from you You were not covered by your insurance plan on the date of service No authorization/referral is on file for the service(s) you received The service(s) you received are not covered under your plan The insurance information recorded at the time of service was inaccurate, incomplete or outdated Please contact your insurance company before calling Pediatrix Patient Services to understand why charges were not covered. If you still need assistance from Pediatrix, please contact Patient Services if you have specific questions regarding your claim denial.
  • Why isn’t my balance updated to show that I made a payment?
    If you made a payment during online check-in or at your physician’s office, your balance usually will not change immediately. We need time to post your payment to your account before your balance will change. Please contact Pediatrix Patient Services at 787-999-0753 if your payment is not accurately reflected after 14 days.
  • I received a bill from Pediatrix, but don’t recall receiving services from a Pediatrix clinical provider. Why?
    Pediatrix doctors and health care professionals treat patients at Pediatrix-owned practices as well as in hospitals, surgery centers and outpatient facilities that are not owned by Pediatrix. If you received care from a Pediatrix doctor at a hospital, surgery center or outpatient facility that is not owned by Pediatrix, you should expect to receive a bill from that facility as well as a separate bill from the Pediatrix doctor who treated you there. The medical bill from Pediatrix will include only the charges for the services provided to you by the Pediatrix doctors and their staff of professionals, and the facility bill should be for additional services provided to you by the facility staff.
  • What is the refund policy?
    If a patient is owed a refund due to an overpayment, a refund check will be sent by mail to the address on the patient’s account. For questions about a refund due, please contact Patient Services. Representatives are available Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm EST to answer your questions at 787-999-0753
  • What should I do if I cannot pay my bill?
    If you are experiencing personal financial difficulty and cannot pay your bill, please call Patient Services at 787-999-0753. Representatives are available Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm EST to assist you in applying for financial assistance or to make payment arrangements.
